For the most part, glues won't hold up. What did you break?

yeh, hot glue aint gonna do anything for you.

super glue can work on some things, but many times if its a plastic part the plastic wont bond well with the glue.

That's a pretty stressed part. I don't know if glue is gonna do ya.
For parts that glue is appropriate crazy glue is the best CA IMO.
Maybe try some dual stage epoxy???

For the price of what a really good glue would cost you can prob buy the replacement tower for around the same price-but yeah glue isnt gonna help much-maybe for 5 min or until that first jump.

Time and money wise you'll trip over a dollar trying to pick up a dime.

Yeah they are right, the only thing that might hold up would be a two stage plastic epoxy, which a small tube is like $5-6, even then it could brake again. You can probably just buy a replacement for that much and it would be stronger and undamaged.

And just an fyi a hot glue gun is even less strong then superglue, hot glue is for like craft projects...lol

Electricrc68-what kinda car/truck we talking about anyway-typically the traxxas, hpi's and the such arent that much and parts are avail. at a lhs if you have one by you. It's usually just acouple screws to swap out the part-trust us-just replace the broken part w/ new. I would think that we all have been there before w/ gluing broken parts ( i have ) and never works out esp. if ya jump-the first hit is most likely gonna ruin your glue job anyway when you coulda just spent that money on the new part to begin with.

Id either use an epoxy that bonds plastic or use gorilla glue. Gorilla glue works good on literally everything.

well i looked at the assembly of the rear and the rear shock tower looks pretty tough to repair....traxxas bandit by the way. im just afraid to take it off of the chassis and all the other things i need to.

isn't it under 14 screws?
looking at my pede which has a similar setup. 4 screws holding the tower on, 2 holding the shocks, 2 holding the tie-rods, and 4 for the body mount
probably also have to unscrew the ESC which is 2 screws to get to the 2 that hold the tower to the chassis

glue will not hold.
This is actually pretty easy, and straight forward. Don't want to sound like a complete jerk but I'd suggest not buying another RC if this is too complex.

there should be set of plugs on the motor wires, just unplug them and pull the wires through.

You should be able to unplug the motor wire's - is it brushless or brushed-either way they should just pull apart-changing the shock tower isnt that hard-but the screw's holding it on can be a pain sometimes to get at depending how thick of a driver you are using. heres the part u need from RPM-lifetime warranty-but may wanna hold off from tower b/c their shipping would prob be as much as the part itself.

Here's an ebay listing w/ better price-i always use/bye stuff from this seller and get parts quick-

What buggy do you have? Somebody might be able to locate a new or used mount for you. Glue doesn't work on most rc applications.
